The German Phoenix Reisen cruise vessel is 205 m long and can accommodate up to 835 passengers. This is the ship's first real cruise since the beginning of the pandemic, which both passengers and crew are very happy about.
Following the traditions, the Chairman of the Board of the Freeport of Riga Viesturs Zeps and CEO of the Freeport of Riga Ansis Zeltiņš exchanged memorial plaques with the representatives of the ship. Employees of the Riga Passenger Port and media representatives also were present at the ceremony.
