In 2024, Riga Passenger Port served 63 cruise ships, while in 2025 we plan to welcome 84 ships. The long-term efforts of the Port of Riga & partners in promoting Riga as a winter cruise destination was rewarded with 6 cruise ship visits in the 2024/2025 winter season, which ranked Riga among the 3 most popular winter cruise destinations in Northern Europe.
The 2025 season began on February 19 with the visit of the British Ambassador Cruise Line's ship AMBIENCE. The season is expected to end on December 15 with the Swedish cruise line “Rederi AB Gotland & Viking Line” ship BIRKA GOTLAND.
